Man Utd are weighing up a potential move for ex-Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, according to reports.
The Serbian international is currently available on a free transfer, having left Juve at the end of last month following the expiration of his contract.
Vlahovic does have other suitors, and The I Paper journalist Pete Hall claims the Red Devils may be “set to battle Barcelona” for the player’s signature.
The La Liga champions have been seeking a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, and Vlahovic is being looked at as a cost-effective solution.
Why are United interested in Vlahovic?
Joshua Zirkzee could leave Old Trafford before the transfer window closes, with Juventus named as one of three Serie A teams lining up bids for the Dutchman.
If Zirkzee’s departure is sanctioned, manager Michael Carrick will be keen to bring in more competition for Benjamin Sesko up front.
Hall says that Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins is another target under consideration, but he may cost too much to sign. The fact that Vlahovic is a free agent makes a move for the Serbian more viable.
Man Utd would be bringing in a decent striker
Juventus beat Arsenal to Vlahovic’s signature in the January 2022 transfer window. The Bianconeri paid €80m (£66.6m) to Fiorentina, including add-ons.
While the forward performed well during his four and a half year stint in Turin, it is fair to say that he never quite lived up to his potential.
Vlahovic found the back of the net 68 times in 168 appearances, averaging a goal every 2.47 games, which is a pretty average return.
At 26 years of age, though, he is still in his prime, so there is an argument to say that he would present decent competition for Sesko. It will be interesting to see if this transfer story has any legs.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
